About The Village
The Village Oslo is a modern motherhood community rooted in connection, thoughtful support, and evidence-informed guidance.
We are here to walk with you, to celebrate your wins, to help carry the load, and to remind you that while you might be far from your original village, you don’t have to do this alone.
While our hearts are in Oslo, we have no borders. Whether you are navigating the streets of Norway or raising your children on the other side of the world, you are welcome here.
Why We Exist
Motherhood is powerful, joyful, and challenging — and it’s never meant to be done alone.
The Village Oslo exists to:
Create connection, not just content
Bring expert-informed guidance, not opinions from random strangers
Build a supportive environment where women and mothers can grow together, no matter what stage we’re at. Come as you are - by yourself or with your little ones
We’re starting online, but this is just the first step. Over time, the Village will evolve into something richer — a space shaped by the people who belong to it.
We’re glad you’re here. You are not alone. 🌿
Meet the Founder
The Village Oslo was founded by Ines Khiari Millan, a mother of two who believes that modern motherhood deserves more support, more thoughtful conversation, and a stronger sense of community.
After becoming a mother, Ines began reflecting on how differently motherhood is lived today compared to how it was experienced for most of human history. Women once raised children surrounded by other women — sharing knowledge, asking questions, and learning together across generations.
Today, many mothers find themselves navigating one of life’s most transformative experiences largely on their own, often surrounded by more information than ever before but without the kind of steady support that helps that information make sense.
This is why we have to be intentional. We have to build our own villages from the ground up — not simply for help with the baby, but for the accompaniment of the mother.
The Village Oslo was created to offer that kind of space — a place where mothers can gather, learn together, exchange ideas, and support one another with curiosity, generosity, and care.
